Building up my own little zoo! I woke up in the middle of the night hearing my father speak to my mother about going to Delhi and visiting a huge zoo. I was so excited that my mouth was wide open but I didn’t shout. The next morning, when I woke up, I pretended that I did not hear anything last night. Then my mother asked me, “Son, do you want to visit a zoo in Delhi?” I replied, “Yes, of course. I always wanted to visit a zoo. You never took me to one.” I love animals and that’s the reason I was so excited. The chair I was sitting on started poking me as I was jumping so much.

After a few days, I was in Delhi’s zoo string at the beautiful fish,

the tiny and colourful birds, the cute domestic and the ferocious tigers, lions and leopards. I was so happy after I saw all the animals and birds in the zoo. When I was going, the gate was closing. So, I thought that the zoo wanted me to stay as I was one of the most interested boys in the zoo. After going home, I wanted a zoo of my own. I knew I couldn’t buy so animals but I could borrow some. I asked my parents whether I could take some animals from my neighbours and of course, my cute Labrador. They said, “Yes, but not more than five animals and that too for two days.” I was so happy and excited. First, I went to my milkman and asked him for his donkey. He agreed as he didn’t need him everyday. That made it two animals– my Labrador and the donkey. Later, I went to my aunt to ask her for her parrot who could speak. She also agreed. I could find no more animals. I thought its fine. I could present three animals, a cute Labrador, a talkative parrot and a hard-working donkey. I started preparing and soon my zoo of three animals was ready. People started visiting my zoo and appreciating me as I was a kid but I was managing it so well. I am looking forward to expanding my zoo by bringing more animals very soon.
